Bee Keeper
A bee goddess based in Black Creek, Vancouver Island. When driving into her driveway I was greeted with an abundance of character. Her property is teeming with life, from ducks, bee hives scattered throughout and a beautiful home. When asked about the bees I was inspired to see someone with soo much love for life and everything she was doing. Her property at just under an acre supplies her family with the majority of food they need for the year.
She also has bees located up on Mt Washington, I had wondered what's been happening with bee populations after being frequented in the news for quite some time. While some challenges remain the resurgence of backyard bee keepers and information out there to keeping hives healthy has been a shining light.
