ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHER 

Jake is a permaculture farmer who is looking to make his soil the best in the galaxy. A tall order although you could smell the soil when walking through his farm and simply put it smelt remarkably earthy, vibrant, and teeming with life. With wood chip pathways between plants, and using layers of compost to keep down weeds, Jake has found a way that nourishes others with healthy food. With healthier soil, these plants are able to grab more nutrients that get carried onto us. A healthier body has much less restraint on our current systems from health care to our mental faculties.

Jake taught me about the Broadfork he uses, a way of aerating the soil and slightly loosening without killing the very things that help with soil health.
