Simon Fraser University Stadium - Vancouver Architectural Photography

The SFU Stadium designed by Perkins&Will is such an elegant design. Exploring with a friend over a year ago our focus was exploring some of the campus that was designed by renowned architect Arthur Erickson and the new Simon Fraser University Stadium. We didn't plan for a specific time, but after arriving and seeing where it was, we decided to wait over an hour to get it at a steeper angle to help break the horizontal lines in a way I find elevates them even more. This almost minimalist stadium with a warm wood ceiling, flat roof cantilevered out over the stands is a remarkable design.

Vancouver has amazing architecture, and the more I search, it's not just focused on one area but everywhere has these beautiful structures. Going into each place and discovering the landscapes and architecture and there relationship together has been a really fun endeavor.
